The Bioglycolic Facial Lotion SPF 15 non-chemical sunblock is the first Glycolic Acid resurfacing agent that is combined with a totally non-chemical sunblocking agent. Facial Lotion SPF 15 is formulated using highly micronized Titanium Dioxide and the identical percentage of Glycolic Acid as contained in Jan Marini’s regular Facial Lotion. Titanium Dioxide is known as a physical block, meaning that unlike chemical agents, it deflects the sun’s UV rays before they can penetrate the skin. Because of Titanium Dioxide’s superior ability to give total protection, it has broad spectrum blocking capabilities that include UVA, UVB, UVC and infrared rays. Facial Lotion SPF 15 provides excellent protection for those who have sensitivities to chemical sun’screens. The preparation is comprised of non-comedogenic ingredients.
